Jesus holds children very close to His heart, and we at
Calvary Chapel do so as well. With God’s Word as our high-
est priority, we have designed the Children’s Ministry in
such a way that kids can learn at their own level.
Our mission is to make disciples by creating a fun, loving,
and interactive environment where kids are encouraged to
grow in Christ. In order to do this, we provide volunteers
who emphasize love, classrooms that are clean and orderly,
procedures that are safe, an age-appropriate and Bible-
based curriculum. We pray that your child’s biblical adven-
ture here lays a foundation for a lifetime of living for Christ!

Infants - Kinder We realize that your child is the most
precious thing that God has entrusted to you. For this reason,
our nursery and pre-school rooms are staffed by a group of
committed and background checked volunteers, sharing the
love of God with each and every child that they are privileged
to care for. The babies and toddlers enjoy biblically-based music
and age-appropriate toys that are sanitized at each service. The
Preschool and Kindergarten kids are introduced to stories from
scripture along with crafts and activities that help reinforce
the lesson. To ensure a fruitful experience for the children, we
do our best to ensure that optimal child-to-volunteer ratios are
maintained. We also consider your child’s safety a top
priority and have security procedures in place that permit only
the person with your child’s corresponding number tag to
check him or her out. We hope your child will enjoy his or her
time with us.
1st Grade - 6th Grade We believe your kids are the
future of the church. Because of this, we have made consider-
able investments of time, energy, and resources to provide a
happy, welcoming place for them.
During our Sunday morning services, kids participate in group
worship, and a Bible study using drama that kids can relate to.
The kids also spend time interacting in smaller groups with
others their same age, guided by a committed and
background-checked leader that reinforces the biblical
message.
On Sunday nights, kids join their parents in the sanctuary for
worship before being dismissed to their classes.
On Wednesday nights, the 1st - 4th grades participate in
Calvary Kids Club (cKc), which is designed for a child that has
had a long day sitting at a desk in school. Scriptural principles,
and memorization are presented in an interactive environment.

5th & 6th
grade participate in Grapple, a program designed
especially for Preteens. They tackle real questions and search
the Bible to find God’s truths concerning those questions.
Your child is sure to have fun growing in his or her relationship
with God at Disciple Island. |
