SHORT TERM MISSIONS TRIP: NICARAGUA, July 2-9, 2008
There is a meeting upstairs in room 208 at 10:15 am this morning for anyone interested and needing more information regarding the proposed one week trip to Calvary Chapel Managua.
PAINTING FOR VBS
We are looking for volunteers that would like to help us with painting the murals for VBS! We will have a painting work day here next Saturday, May 17th from 10am-6pm. You can help any or all of that time! There is a lot to paint! Call Angie Jones for details at 848-4482.
CALVARY BOOKSTORE
If you’re looking for somewhere to serve the Lord, we have a special place for you! We have opportunities in our Bookstore before and after all services. There is a variety of places to serve, such as, running the cash register, CD lending library, and CD duplication. The Bookstore is a wonderful place to learn about the different Calvary authors, as well as other well known authors. Get familiar with the great variety of Bibles and teaching material. Come be a part of this vital ministry, and be blessed.
BLOOD DRIVE
The next blood drive is Sunday, May 18th. If you are interested in making a donation the bus will be in the parking lot from 9am to 1pm. There are lots of incentives being offered like t-shirts, coupons, and gift certificates, so be sure to stop by!
SHILOH ADVENTURE SUMMER CAMP
CCMI kids 8-15 years old are invited to Long Point Park Campground, near Sebastian Inlet, for a week long ”Walking On Water” camp, July 27 through August 1st. Activities include: daily devotions, water sports, fishing, arts and crafts, times of worship and studying God’s word. YOUTH UPDATES
-Welcome new 7th graders! On Sunday night, June 1, all graduating 6th graders will be able to join the youth group. The youth leaders will be visiting the 6th graders in their classes to get to know them and will be handing out an informational letter for the parents.
-On Tuesday, June 3 there will be an end of school year party. All teens grades 7-12 are invited. Location TBD.
-Attention senior high graduates! FYI will be holding a graduation celebration on Friday, June 6. All graduating high school students are invited. Location TBD.
-Don’t miss the youth conference at Calvary St. Pete June 13 & 14. Deadline to sign up is May 28. Phil Wickham will be in concert, and Pedro Garcia, Sr. Pastor CC Kendall, will be one of the guest speakers.
